Best time for kids to start school in Aus

Hi. We were granted 475 last November 21. Gusto namin sana mag initial entry sa Adelaide by March-April 2013. Kaso lang po I have a son 14yo, 2nd hear high school na siya dito sa Pinas. Ang payo nung friend ko ay dumating ng mas maaga like January para makapag start ng school year at early February yung son ko. The reason is that he can be easily assimilated and he can adjust better sa new school environmment. My question is, is this really big deal or ok lang lang naman ipasok ko yung son ko at the middle of the term like March 2013. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Mahihirapan kasi akong mag train ng papalit sa akin sa office and it will take some time. Thanks very much.
