Register marriage and birth with PH embassy

I am a dual citizen: Aussie citizen + nag dual citizenship ceremony ako several years ago.

I also got married and had a child but never registered both.

I'm thinking whether to register or not. Any pros and cons to doing this? Buti pa kung straightforward yung application pero 4x copies of all documents kailangan (parang sobrang dami dapat i-certify ng JP). So kung marriage + birth registration dapat 8x copies of all documents. I've also tried calling the Philippine embassy in Canberra pero parating can't get through.

Baka mag register nalang ako kung kailanganin pero ngayon parang wala naman atang advatage to do it. Wala naman kaming planong tumira sa Pinas kaya ok lang na mag visit using our Aussie passports.

Anything we're missing out on if we don't register the marriage or birth?
