How long is overseas license valid in South Australia if you have VISA 309?

Nabasa ko kasi na pwede mong magamit yung international driver's license as long as hindi ka PR. E pano sa case ng Spouse visa 309, ganun din ba ang rules? Saka does this rule particularly apply in South Australia?

    Temporary/provisional visa holders can drive anywhere in australia as long as the licence is valid...a PR visa holder needs to get an australian licence within 3 months of being in Australia
