Student visa in Regional Area

Hi Guys! Here is my current situation. Nasa Melbourne ako ngayon i arrived here last week. I am a permanent resident and a Chef in Hong Kong. More than 3 years nako being a chef. Nag aapply ako sa seek.au trying to get some luck na may mag sponsor sakin. Send lang ako ng send ng resume basta nakikita ko yung "sponsorship will be considered to the right applicant." Nakaka receive naman ako ng ilang phone calls at yung first na tinatanong nila is anong current visa ko and ofcourse ang sagot ko is tourist visa which has totally no working rights diba. So ang nakikita kong option is to go through student visa na pag approve sya, magkakaroon kana ng working rights kahit 20 hrs per week. Yung isang nakausap ko na employer sabi nya willing daw sya magbigay ng sponsorship given na i will be able to work with them for 6-12 months before they can offer the sponsorship. Mostly ng mga tumatawag sakin ganong ang sinasabi eh. So here goes my questions.

1. possible ba yung ma hire ka as long as willing yung employer ma sponsor ka at magiging tourist visa to sponsorship/working visa?

2. Kung magtuloy ako sa student visa, gusto ko po sana mag aral sa regional area para may dagdag points po ako para sa pag apply ko ng pr in the future. Yung mga migration services ba meron bang silang inooffer sa regional area kahit dito ako sa melbourne magpoprocess? anong migration services po ang reliable?

3. Ano po yung mabibigay nyong advice sakin? nag resigned na po ako sa work ko at dala ko po lahat ng credentials ko dito.

4. Meron po bang same situation dito sakin? i want to here your stories too!
