ICT Support Engineer or Software Engineer

Hello to All,

Hope all is well.

I'm trying to do some research in migrating to Australia, and I do appreciate if someone can shed light towards my concern.

The ICT Support Engr with ANZSCO 263212, is under STSOL
and Software Engr with ANZCO 261313, is under MLTSSL

for the past 10 years the following is my summary of job (since 2008 until 2018)
2008 -2010 > Software Engr in Japan (2yrs)
2011 - present > Support Engr (Japanese Specialist) in Manila (7 yrs)

(2003-2010 - Software Engr. Japan)

I want to seek your advice which is the most applicable VISA type I could apply before I undergo into assessing agency ACS and further applicaton. I understand that ICT Support Engr with ANZSCO 263212 has a limited VISA scope for me to apply.

VISA I want to pursue is Skilled Independent VISA Subclass 189. Thank you in advance.
