Hey Everyone! Admin here, It's a bit overdue but I will be migrating our forum site to a new platform for better security. I will take out all the ads as well as these pesky spammers. Please expect a bit of issues here and there, and will slowly move the features to the new one. Don't worry we are very much alive and will be alive as long as I'm here :)

  • @batman anyway, what is your timeline?
in Accountant Comment by CPAofOz June 2015
  • @batman yeah, IELTS is too mainstream and changed their business purpose which is to haul examinee's money to the last centavo.

  • @kristine_1377 @filipinacpa @KEM @cpa_oct2011 are you guys referring to the Real Aloud test? For that, I usually finish it in 20-25 seconds. Maybe that's why my grade is low because the pronunciation and intonation is sacrificed.
  • @kristine_1377 do you have the same experience as @filipinacpa?
  • @kristine_1377 I remember she took it in Bright Centre at Ortigas.
  • @Electrical_Engr_CDR congrats! PTE-A for the win!

  • @FrenchMilk thanks for the tips!
  • @FrenchMilk what's the score? did you also take IELTS? how long did it take you before taking the PTE-A?
  • @bait0211 wala pa bro e. plan ko is to take it on the last week of June. i will still assess myself through the online practice test and hopefully i get a positive result. how 'bout you?
  • @MyOZdream hopefully they get it back soon.
  • Do anyone had a hard time finishing the sample questions? By hard time, I mean the saving of the exam to generate the result or answer afterwards.
  • @MyOZdream @MSS kamusta results?
  • @nedz try to access it here. it was shared by @filipinacpa on the 1st page of this thread. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/13non7lhdwefotp/AADfiVvjkea7xaz42rFRiaSta?dl=0
  • @nedz try mo un sample questions sa PTE website which will cost you also around 1k but you can opt to get the package that includes 1 or 2 practice tests evaluated the same as the actual test. you can also try McMillan.
  • @neds bro, try PTE-A! I'm currently reviewing for it! i just wish people would also post here there previous results in IELTS and their successful result in PTE-A! haha!
  • @bl_blitz wow! congrats to you! i thought you took the PTE-A instead of IELTS after all that struggle! that's quite of a patience and perseverance you got there! haha!
  • @eifla congrats! thanks for that very good advice! yes, time pressure is indeed not to be underestimated.
