I am planning to aaply for a student visa for Aged Care Cert. III

I ask a consultancy already and they told me that expenses will cost 300k and my sponsor needs 1.3m show money. is this true?

My Timeline: Visa Type: 572 (Certificate of Aged Care III & IV)
Oct. 16, 2014 - Paid my IELTS exam
Nov. 12, 2014 - Speaking Test IELTS
Nov. 13, 2014 - R,L,W IELTS TEST
Nov. 14, 2014 - Application Form Sent To Academia International (MelBourne)
Nov. 26, 2014 - Offer Letter Received
- IELTS Results: L-8 R-6.5 W-6 S-6 Overall = 6.5
Nov. 29, 2014 - Medicals Done @ NHS Makati
Dec. 5 2014- Medicals Submitted all ok

Tuition Fee Paid via BPI, Offer Accepted & Submitted
Dec. 8 2014 - COE received
Dec. 18 2014 - Lodged Visa Application @ AMS
Jan. 12 2015 - Additional Medicals Test Requested
Jan. 13 2015 - Medicals Done
Jan. 30 2015 - Visa Granted No Interview Thank you Lord My Birthday
Feb 6 2015 - Arrival in Melbourne

more or less po ganyan..in my case kasi family kmi so mga 2m+ ang need na proof of funds.kung di ka tiwala you can look for schools yourself para macompare mo ang tuition pero di nmn nagkakalayo ung fee nila eh..

sept 2014: IELTS done
oct2014: IELTS result 7.5
nov2014: applied at AIH, CSU(got interviewed) and Kent Institute
dec2014: got offer letter from all schools
jan2015: still undecided where to study
