Dec 2012 - got positive feedback from EA requesting for IELTS
March 9, 2012 - Took IELTS (Ave=7.0)
remarking due to S=6.5... negative so
May 2013 - (sent IELT copy to EA) Assessed as Civil Engineer professional by EA
June 14, 2013 - Applied State Sponsorship (WA) / EOI
June 18, 2013 - Positive feedback for SS
June 19, 2013 - Invited to Lodge 190 visa by DIAC
June 21, 2013 - Lodged 190 Visa (WA) Civil Engineer - 233211
June 28, 2013 - Applied NBI at PH Embassy Sg
July 23, 2013 - CO Assigned Adelaide (Team 7)
July 26, 2013 - Singapore PCC Applied
July 30, 2013 - Medicals with my fiancee
August 17, 2013 - SG PCC and Form 80 uploaded
August 26, 2013 - VISA GRANTED!!!! Thank you Lord worth the wait
November 17, 2013 - Initial entry PERTH, Wa
December 2, 2013 - Wife Started on her work.. (big blessing)

Cannington is probably closer to the city than our house. I think you are better off where you are or if you want to be closer to the city, try Victoria Park or South Perth in the south or Leedervile, Yokine, Osborne Park, etc in the north.
