New 457 visa approved - need accomodation in Melbourne near CBD or near public transport to city

Hello, first post po ito...very happy to share that my 457 is approved today...sobrang bilis ng processing.
I am learning a lot from this forum esp. sa preparation to move down under...thank you!

I will come first this coming May 2012 from Singapore and plan to have my family to join me after a month or so.

Pls. let me know if you have or know someone with a temporary furnished accommodation preferably near Melbourne cbd or very close to public transport going to CBD..my office is at St. kilda. Mayroon po akong idea sa prices ng weekly rental so may budget naman for this.

@sgmumsy, kumusta? Sa seek.com.au mayroon pa ring ilan na company nagsponsor ng 457. Nowadays mabilis lang ang processing time, sa akin same day na-lodge ay nagpamedical agad ako...u need the TRN. Next day medical requirement complete na (online submission ung clinic sa SG). after 2working days na-approve na...again case to case ito. Yes, sap all the way!

i see.. pede po ba malaman kung anong agency na me labour agreement ang nagprocess ng application mo? i was assessed by both Aurec & 3W pero wala pang balita e.. anong sap module ka nga pala? abap ako pero dahil nasa end user env, maraming bagong tools ang di ko na alam.. one more thing, dumaan ka din ba sa interview or right away you got ur job offer? salamat po ulet.. at pasensya na maraming tanong hehe

thanks! ung visa processing after completing the medical takes 2working day lang, it takes me 1week to complete the docs so in total around 2-2.5week lang may approval na.

permanent job ito and ung visa is valid for 4yrs...wala namang bond pero if you quit early you may need to reimburse ung company expenses sa visa and relocation.

yes, i went thru the whole interview process and background check directly with the company with no middle man ika nga...the employer wants to make sure that they get things right the first time in choosing the candidate so give your best na lang! goodluck.
