I'm not in healthcare field, but there are some info online about career outcomes with that degree. Even the QUT website has info on the type of work you can potentially apply for after graduation. If you decide to return to medtech after studying, you'll have to look into what you need to do to get qualified to work in Australia.

That degree is a coursework, so you need to apply for Student Visa (subclass 500)

Medical Technician is in the list of occupations eligible for a state sponsored skilled visa. Have you considered this option?
I'm not a medical practitioner but I used to work in a medical setting, sa corporate side. Ang nakikita kong possible challenge mo after graduation is that you have a Masters degree but no experience in the local medical environment. Yung mga kilala ko in management roles all have lengthy local experience as an allied health professional before they crossed over to the management side of things. Lalo na ibang-iba ang public health system sa atin as compared dito. Something for you to consider when making your decision.
