Hello po. I was recently granted permanent residence visa 887. Dati po akong visa 489. Umuwi po ako agad ng Pinas pagkatanggap ko ng PR kasi almost 3 years akong di nakauwi while I was on 489 visa. Ang tanong ko po ay ito, gaano katagal po ba ako allowed mag stay dito sa Pinas bilang ako ay PR na? May nakapagsabi po kasi sakin na di daw ako dapat lumagpas ng 6 months at kailangan na bumalik ng Australia. Totoo po ba iyon? Sana po ay may makasagot. Salamat po

The only impact of prolonged absence in Au while on PR visa is on the earliest date that you can apply for Au citizenship. Other than that you can stay in Ph for as long as you like, afterall you are still a PH citizen and passport holder.
