Got 60pnts only at EOI skill select for 189

Hello po. I am new here. May i ask your advice po. I am applying for 189. Based on the points calculator I am able to get 65pnts. But when i input all my details at skill select i only get 60pnts. Done with english exam and skill assesments. Just wondering how it came to 60pnts. Pa advice po. Thank you po. - Joseph

Compare each criteria( your estimate and Skillselect) so that you will know saan ang difference. We cannot give any advice unless we know some details and how you came up with the 65points.

Thank u po. I think sa work experience. Kse even i am more 8years experience. Nakalagay sa point system details na within in 10yrs. Sakin po wihin 12yrs may mga bakante ako na d nagwork. Un kaya po ang dahilan? Meron po ba na recent cases na nakapagaaply with 60pnts for 189? Before the rules changes last july/jun 2018. Thank u so much po

the basis is only the past 10 years from the date you applied...beyond that di na counted. In your case na may gap between work experience, only the releveant work experience in the past 10 years will be counted. If you applied before the point system was increased to 65, it should be evaluated against the old rule.

Yes may mag nagagrant na 65 or don sa minimum score lang. It will depend on the skill that you've nominated, the quota, the points of the applicants. If you are applying a 189 visa, the issuance of invitation to apply will depend on the items i've mentioned earlier. If you are applying for 190 or 489 visa, invitation will depend when the sponsoring state will approve the nomination. State nomination approval will also be based on the state's quota for that skill, points etc.

You can see the current status of each occupation to check the quota and the available space to date. It will reset every start of financial year July 1.

@King Tim you mean invited at 65 points siguro?
to be honest and not to give false hopes, 65 is the minimum points and depending on how your competition in your nominated occupation plays - at this point we are looking at 75-85 points to be given an Invitation To Apply (ITA). Assess your current situation and identify other areas where you can increase your points.

Check mo din ang visa 190 na may +5 to up your points to 70. Read through the changes din this coming Nov 2019 na makakacontribute sa additional points mo.

Don’t feel hopeless unless you have exhausted all means to increase your points
