Engineers. What did you do to find work here in Australia?

Suggestions will be appreciated. Any one who experienced the same?

1. I came here two weeks ago with PR skilled migrant electrical engineer. With Engineers Australia accreditation.
2. Wala pa akong aussie experience but I have 8 years saudi and 3 years philippines exp. What field I can I apply to? It has been 6 weeks since I started applying online. No calls or replies at all.
3. What course can I study if I choose to advance my knowledge. Ang hirap yata makahanap ng work sa field natin without being educated here.
4. Is there an engineering body that can credit or assess us to be certified engineers? Engineers australia assessed us to be migrants not as certified ones. Or is it?

    Pwede kang mag apply as a professional member ng Engineers Australia kaya lang medyo mahal nga lang

    Apply lang ng apply at samahan mo ng dasal. Para hindi ka din mainep hanap ka muna ng odd jobs. Madami opportunities ngayon ang EE dahil boom ang renewables ngayon

    I'm not yet in OZ but trying to find ways on how to prepare my self on finding jobs. I found this during my research.. https://www.obpaustralia.com.au/
    Although I have not tried it yet, it seems that work placement is a good step in acquiring "local experience" and eventually land a job..

    20/12/2015 - EA asked for additional docs (COLORED scan - PRC Board Certificate + Degree Certificate)
    13/01/2016 - EA Result positive
    12/05/2016 - IELTS (cleared Band 7) Praise the LORD!!!
    21/05/2016 - EOI 189 (65 points)
    25/05/2016 - ITA
    20/06/2016 - Lodge visa application
    AWAITS NBI AND PCC QATAR
    02/07/2016 - Medical cleared for me and family
    05/07/2016 - CO requested for certified copies of docs. + NBI & PCC
    12/07/2016 - Submitted docs. requested by CO
    17/08/2016 - PRAISE THE LORD.. Visa Grant
    12/02/2017 - completed Initial Entry

    Apply lang po ng apply may ko-contact din po..Ang tips po sa akin ay palitan yung location sa seek ng Australia pati po yung nasa LinkedIn then i-add yung mga recruitment agents sa LinkedIn then sila na mismo ang magmemessage sa inyo.

    May mga friends ako from SG to melbourne madali lang nagkawork. Nasa aecom melbourne sila ngayon. D nmn daw sila nahirapan makasecure ng work. Ganun din sana balak ko. Since marami nmng choices like arup, meinhardt. Sa contractors, usually mga local firms ata mas popular dun
