Hey Everyone! Admin here, It's a bit overdue but I will be migrating our forum site to a new platform for better security. I will take out all the ads as well as these pesky spammers. Please expect a bit of issues here and there, and will slowly move the features to the new one. Don't worry we are very much alive and will be alive as long as I'm here :)

Patulong po!

Hello po? Ask lang po ako. Nangangailangan talaga ng tulong since wala akong kaalam-alam. Aunty ko gusto akong papuntahin sa Sydney since hindi siya pwedeng mag sponsor saakin, hindi ko alam anong gagawin. Elementary Teacher ako dito. Two months lang experience ko dahil naka sub po ako. Pahirapan kasi dito saamin makapasok as teacher. May passport po ako. Anong unang step para makakuha ng visa? Thanks po

If you want to apply for tourist visa, you can apply online but the approval still depends on how you present your case. Looking for work on a tourist visa is hard and you will be in breach of your visa conditions in doing so. You can try to search for an employer who is willing to sponsor your working visa while on a tourist visa but the 3 mos tourist visa is not enough and considering you dont have enough experience to be considered skilled by most employers. Applying for a skilled migrant visa requires thorough assessment of your circumstances...able to get a positive skills assessment, ielts of 8 in each subtest, score at least 60 in points test. Your first hurdle is getting a positive skills assessment to progress and just looking at your 2 mos work experience, i guess its a bit hard.

@marieldt7 Have you read the Skillselect pages on visas 189, 190, and 489? I suggest you read up on the requirements and application process. May flow chart at the bottom of the visa page para mas maintindihan yung process.

There's also a sticky on the step by step process under the Skilled-Independent thread here in pinoyau. Marami kang matututunan duon.

Meron din thread on AITSL dito sa pinoyau. AITSL yata yung nag-aassess ng teachers who want to migrate to Australia.
