Visa 489 for Queensland

Hi, bago lang po ako dito and just got my grant with a visa 489 for queensland.

Seeking for advice where is the best location in queensland to look for a job. Wala po talaga kasi ako kilala sa QLD and visa 489 is hindi naman pwede sa Brisbane and Gold Coast. Sana po may makapagbigay sakin ng advice. Thanks.

Hi would like to ask of it was specified in your grant letter na hindi ka pwede sa Brisbane and Gold Coast as both of these cities are in QLD

Nakalagay sa condition ng visa grant ko na dapat sa regional areas lang ako mag work at live, naka indicate ung mga postcode kung saan ako pwede. Hindi kasama ung postcode ng Brisbane at Gold coast.

@sef i suggest you publish yung mga places/post codes na pwede para makapag advise yung mga members nasa QLD.

Tooowoomba [4350] madaming pinoy. Work opportunities depende sa skills. Dahil regional, hence, low cost of living (??), kaya expect na madami din looking for work like you.

@agentKams pangalawa kana na nagbigay sakin ng advise na sa toowoomba. Mukang toowoomba nga ata madaming work kung hindi pwede sa Brisbane at Gold coast. How about Cairns, ano po balita nyo sa lugar na un? Madami rin kaya work dun?

@sef i am not sure with Cairns. I have a relative working in hotel there but i really cannotcomment much. Hope someone here in the forum may be able to share.
