  Hi, im not an accountant,but I bumped into that question long ago in other forum and here is the answer.
  
  External and internal auditing is a closely related work in an accountant occupation. Therefore you may include it in your total work experience.

  @tootzkie, i've seen ur info that u have applied for visa subclass 175. hingi lang aq sau ng advice whether i proceed with 175 as well. eto infos q: age (30 yrs old), ielts OBS-8 (pero me 7.5 aq sa speaking!), education BS Civil Engineering with PRC License (my school falls under section 2), work experience is 6 yrs (i started working as engineer in 2005). mejo kabado kc aq sa points q sa school kc nga section 2 aq (though licensed engineer naman aq) kaya balak qng umapply for state sponsorship para another 5 points qng sakali and at the same time subclass 176 na lng. maraming salamat.
  

  April 16, 2011 - took IELTS (L:8, R:7.5, W:8, S:7.5 OBS:8) I June 2, 2011 - submitted skills assessment to EA I October 26, 2011 - applied for Victoria State Sponsorship I December 03, 2011 - fiancee took IELTS I December 26, 2011 - lodged visa 176 (Victoria SS/Melbourne) I January 23,2012 - CO Allocation (Team 6) I February 20, 2012 - Submitted Police Clearances (Philippines, India & Maldives) I February 26, 2012 - finished medicals I March 13, 2012 - VISA GRANT! THANK YOU LORD!!! I December 04,2012 - initial entry as stated in the visa grant notification

  hi unanimous21, hows your application? same here, a licensed civil engineer, and currently a PR in Singapore. Im planning to apply a visa 175 in Australia too. May idea ka ba how many years ang expiry ng visa like 175? Now ko lang po kasi nahanap ang website na to and wala pa po ako idea kung may mga kababayan tayo na engineers na nagwowork sa Australia. By the way almost same po tayo, graduated 2003, started working in 2004, 2 years experience in Malaysia, 3years experience in Singapore as Civil engineer. (QS/Proposal/Planning/Estimator position).Sana po mlaki chance natin sa Australia. Praying for it! Goodluck satin..
