Another advantage is may salary ka.. Haha karamihan nage aged care o home care. Yung iba naman sa call centre, kitchen hand, cleaner at sari-saring odd jobs.
Btw, just curious, hindi mo ba naconsider yung pharmacist?
For permanent jobs, wala pa naman ako sa job hunting stage. I think yung prob ay mga nagreretire o nagreresign specialised nursing sila so nahihirapan mga entry level. Yung mga jobs naman na inooffer for entry level nurses kailangan ng min. 1 year exp at yung iba permanent part-time lang hindi full-time.. Still meron namang casual, yung tinatawagan lang pag may nag sick leave, o agency nurse na inaassign sa iba ibang hospital kung saan short staffed.
I guess it is true in a way na hard pero I can't describe accurately the magnitude kasi when you look at job boards meron pa ring entry level job openings. I believe the jobs are still there, pero what's shifting is where the jobs are, what fields and hours worked. What is true is mahirap yung overseas trained nurse na walang permanent residency.
