Any comment on Kogarah and Rockdale suburb?

Moving to Sydney on April. Any comment on Kogarah and Rockdale area?
Safe po ba dito? Ok ang transpo for trains and buses?

I have a room for rent in Kogarah it is near the police station, just 2 min walk from the train station, shopping centre, wollies, aldi, banks and 5 min walk to St. George Hospital. In my opinion Kogarah is safer because it is near the police station and i have been living here for more than a year and i have never felt unsafe about the place, however if you want to live in Rockdale, the city council are side is safer don't stay at the centrelink side because it is known to be unsafe as gangsters frequent that area. Most of the people living at the city council side are nepalese and most of the people living at the centrelink are are indians and lebanese. Yes Pinay po ako. I only have one spare room in my 2-bedroom unit but if you want a flat of your own you can just check realestate.com.au. going to mascot takes around 30 min by train and 10-13 min by car. Kogarah has express train service so it is very convenient if you relay on public transport.
